Kundalini Mediumship

My relationship with Spirit began years before I realized it also existed outside the fundamentalist Christian programming of my early childhood. I left the church with questions surrounding the enigmatic forces with which I was involuntarily interacting and a determination to understand what was happening and why. I discovered many paths for consciously connecting with Spirit as part of my ensuing journey:

The kundalini of Kashmir Shaivism, the axé of capoeira and candomblé, and shamanic mediumship are the ones that grabbed my soul. The union of these traditions with my awareness that helping others connect to Spirit was essential to my ability to Embody the Sacred is the seed from which the healing practice of Kundalini Mediumship grew.

Individual Sessions

Individual sessions support the flow of energy through Spirit-informed bodywork.

Most adults acquire energetic blockages from the accumulated pressures of living that eventually coalesce into physical knots.

These knots reside throughout the body and become tenacious reminders of past injury and trauma. They cause physical pain and, crucially, impede the flow of energy. It is frustrating and often debilitating when problems never resolve after years of treatment.

The connection to Spirit is the missing element for tangible healing addressed through Kundalini Mediumship.

The pressures of living coalesce into physical knots.

Individual Sessions combine Spirit-informed bodywork with kundalini channeling to support the Client’s ability to receive the power and blessings of Spirit. The deeply felt prayer in the Client combined with the Practitioner’s prayer opens the channel to Spirit.

The Spirit’s arrival is a primal force shaking body and mind to release blocked energy. It digs deeply into the frustrations, desires, hopes, and fears that dwell within, often provoking an intense release of emotion.

Knots cause physical pain and impede the flow of energy.

Kundalini Mediumship requires active participation to achieve the most benefit. Unwinding physical and emotional knots to increase the flow of energy is possible if one is willing to be vulnerable and actively co-create with Spirit.

Deeply felt prayers open the channel to Spirit.

Foundations Kundalini Mediumship Courses

Foundations Courses promote honest relationships through uncovering and integrating rejected identities.

Being alive means experiencing traumas, both catastrophic and smaller but more numerous. These wounds are then energetically, physically, and emotionally walled off to prevent one from being overwhelmed with grief, shame, resentment, anger, and despair, creating outward spirals of unconscious behavior. When the walls become too prominent, they suppress the awareness of underlying wounds.

Wounds and walls create outward spirals
of unconscious behavior.

This suppression creates a “rejected identity,” which consumes much energy to ignore and, worse, drives our daily existence. This insult to the soul can destroy health, relationships, community, and just about anything!

In conjunction with supporting the flow of energy, the Foundations Courses include a process called Tracking.

Tracking helps reveal suppressed wounds, the rejected identities, and how one makes deals or agreements with the “Trickster that perpetuate unhelpful patterns.

Divine Trickster Exu;
Brazilian Spirit of the Crossroads encourages perpetuation of unhelpful patterns.

Getting close to Spirit can often feel dangerous and uncomfortable as it allows no hiding place while cracking open closely held defenses.

Consequently, tracking demands courage and a willingness to acknowledge painful truths. What can emerge is a way to operate in the world supported by Spirit. Other elements incorporated into the classes to facilitate this dance with Spirit include breathwork, Bandhas, and primal movement.

Course participants willing to accept the offerings of Spirit can create new pathways that slowly transform old recurring patterns of behavior and identity to create an interesting and beautiful life blessed with authentic relationships.

Breathwork, Bandhas, and primal movement facilitate the dance with Spirit.

Advanced Kundalini Mediumship Courses

Advanced Courses inspire meaning and purpose through ongoing dialogue with Spirit and in the community.

Creating genuine health in both body and mind is often elusive as so many of the patterns of identity and behavior causing dysfunction are unconsciously held. This is one reason so many find that habitual patterns remain even after years of shadow work and personal growth.

Many of the patterns of identity and behavior causing dysfunction are unconsciously held.

Achieving genuine change requires not just accepting one’s role in repeating patterns but also connecting to and establishing a relationship with Spirit and one another.

Once energy is flowing and wounds start to integrate through kundalini channeling and tracking, the Client is ready to incorporate the newfound connection to Spirit within a group setting. Prior work is continued through communal song, dance, drumming, and bodywork.

Advanced courses help connect to our Spirit and that in others.

A life with meaning and purpose does not mean having “all the answers” but opening an ongoing dialogue and connection with Spirit.

Even when the connection is made, however, it can be fleeting as there are always parts of the wound remaining that want to hide and stay small to avoid the pain that comes with being authentic.

With this dynamic in mind, Advanced Courses were developed to help us learn to channel Spirit and use that channel to connect to our Spirit and others in the ongoing prayer that is a spirit-filled life.

Embodying the Sacred means different things to different people.

For one person, it meant finally understanding and accepting, with the help of her Spirit guide, that the “entity” creating intractable knots in her belly was her own suppressed feelings of resentment and loss.

For another, it meant awakening his inner Kali and harmonizing his rejected and accepted identities.

For anyone willing to commit to the process described above, the result can be anywhere on the spectrum, from ecstatic glimpses of The Sacred to a life filled with meaning, purpose, and spiritual communion.

Embody the Sacred

Embodying the Sacred is the goal of the work at Spirit House.

The person’s willingness and dedication, together with the plans of Spirit, determine the outcome.

Whatever the goal, ultimately, the outcome depends not just on a person’s willingness and dedication but also on the enigmatic plans of Spirit.
